Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, a scholar and Peter Silk, an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories are of attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mom work. Silk was featured in many commercials as an infant. She was in 1997 when she received an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto in Canada, which was the beginning of the month of November 1999. She then moved from Toronto to Los Angeles California during the following decade. Her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop at the time in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of that year. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's TV work includes playing the character of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant while filming the finale of season three. In January 2013, she made the announcement to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was back to work on the show. Silk's performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex couples in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and voted the most popular Television Couple of 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a huge online following on social media.
